I want to be the person who they can look up to for answers, questions, rely on, and trust.
Each child’s experience in my classroom should only be a positive one. I want to create an environment where a child is never afraid of giving a wrong answer as long as they tried. It’s my job as an instructor to make sure each child is successful, confident, and having fun. My goal is for each child to be able to move onto the next grade without difficulties. Standardized testing shall not be an issue because I plan to cover it over and over again until the child is comfortable in testing and successful in each content area. I want them to be pre-paired and not stress over the small things.
Teaching is about learning from one another, their peers can be a great resource for learning. I plan to do a lot of group involvement where their socializing and getting feedback from one another. Having a buddy classroom can be a great way for older students to help mentor the younger students which I plan to take full advantage of. This can be very beneficial for both parties.
Using my own personal time for students to be successful is in no doubt my first priority, students always come first in any situation. I hope when each child leaves my classroom that they know they can always come to me for help, school related or not. As a teacher I hope to grow along with my students and be thankful that I have chosen such a rewarding career. Teaching has its expected challenges, but I know the challenges won’t outnumber the rewards that come from helping a child realize their dreams.

Reading Response ♥

Technology is a very important component in school settings. Not all students or districts can afford computers but there is many ways in order for us teachers to solve this issue without blowing a huge amount of our classroom funds on technology. We can simple incorporate technology by taking field trips to computer labs or by teaching technology without the object. Of course it would be more beneficial for the children to engage in using the objects daily but in most cases this is not an option. Simply by teaching their use and purpose is better than them not knowing at all. This article defiantly covers these factors and we as teachers need to take into account each students ability and access to technology. Its about working with each student and their cultural backgrounds to make them more aware of our technology and how it works.

For each student to be successful in today's society we need to take into account that everyday we use technology in some form. We as teachers need to our students aware of how much technology is being used and how much its going to progress in the years to come. Technology is very important and by implementing it into our everyday routine in a classroom will only benefit our students. Emergence, awareness, and education are the keys to a successful student beginning their experience in technology.
